I Have 10 Journals Ready—Who Wants to Test One?

Dear Reader,

🌅 Help Me Launch The Eating Empowerment Journal

I'm holding the first printed copies of The Eating Empowerment Journal in my hands, and I want to put them in the hands of 10 people before the official public launch in March.

This journal is different than anything you've seen before.

It's not another meal plan or food rules system. It's a guided exploration to help you understand who you are as an eater—your patterns, your beliefs, where they came from, and why you do what you do around food.

Most of us have been eating on autopilot (or in reaction to diet rules) for so long that we've lost touch with our own unique relationship with food. This journal helps you find your way back to yourself.

I'm looking for 10 beta testers.

If you're selected, you get:

✔️ Free journal (retail value $19.95)

✔️ Exclusive access to the The Sensory Eating Meditation Library ($27 value)

✔️ First opportunity for future beta tests

What I'm asking:

Use the journal over 4 weeks

Leave an honest review on Amazon by March 17th

How it works:

Applications are open for 48 hours (closes Friday, January 30 at 9pm EST). I'll review them over the weekend and notify everyone by Monday, February 2—either as a selected beta tester or with access to the exclusive Launch Bundle.

This journal is for you if:

⭐️ You want to understand why you eat the way you do

⭐️ You're curious about where your food beliefs and fears came from

⭐️ You're ready to explore your patterns without judgment

⭐️ You want self-knowledge, not another set of rules

Applications close Friday night.

5-Senses Sunday

This week: My favorite meal prep hack (hint: it's called a "slop bowl"), why horses can literally smell how you're feeling, and the birch tree that left me speechless on a freezing morning walk. Plus epistemic curiosity, somatic art, and a recipe bundle gift.

Ingredient Spotlight:

Water Chestnuts

If you've only experienced water chestnuts in canned form from a can of stir-fry veggies, you're missing out on their fresh potential. These little bulbs have a mildly sweet, slightly nutty flavor and that signature crunch that stays crisp even when cooked—which is exactly why they're so popular in Asian cuisine.

The texture is really what makes them special. They add that satisfying bite to stir-fries and salads without getting mushy.

Nutrition-wise, they're a good source of fiber and potassium.

Try them raw in salads for maximum crunch, thinly sliced in spring rolls, diced into lettuce wraps, or my favorite—chopped and mixed into meatballs or dumplings for an unexpected texture contrast. They also work surprisingly well in quick pickles.
