{HMW} When your messy desktop affects how you eat (+ free workshop inside)

Dear Reader, Back in the day, I used to run webinars with my 2 biz besties, Cait Byrnes and Sarah Steckler. We've remained close for almost 10 years now and we're even meeting up in person in November in West Virginia for a weekend retreat at a cozy cabin! I've long admired Sarah's work - she specializes in mindful productivity and also helps people plan and publish their own planners and journals. Her creativity astounds me. She is graciously offering a free workshop for this audience and I can't wait to tell you more about it. 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼 When your digital world feels chaotic, it can ripple into how you show up in every other area of life, including how present you are with food, your body, and your time. That’s why I love what Sarah is teaching in her Get Organized with Google Workspace Workshop. In this free workshop, she is sharing practical, gentle strategies to help you clear digital clutter and set up your work life in a way that actually feels nourishing. We have a local farmers market near me that has barrels of apples of all kinds and varieties and I've been eyeing this one. Have you tried a Lady Alice apple? Ingredient Spotlight: Komatsuna This Japanese leafy green deserves more attention in Western kitchens. Komatsuna (Japanese mustard spinach) has tender, round leaves and crisp stems that taste like a gentler version of bok choy—mild and slightly sweet with just a whisper of mustard bite. Unlike spinach, it holds its texture beautifully when cooked, making it perfect for quick stir-fries, miso soup, or braised dishes. The stems stay crunchy while the leaves turn silky. You can also eat it raw in salads when the leaves are young. It's incredibly fast-growing, which is why Japanese home gardeners love it, and it's packed with calcium, iron, and vitamins A and C. Look for it at Asian markets, or substitute with baby bok choy or mustard greens if you can't find it. The whole plant is edible—just give it a rinse and roughly chop. It wilts down significantly, so buy more than you think you need. Try this beginner recipe if you've never tried Komatsuna before: Komatsuna with Creamy Polenta Announcements & Upcoming: The Creativity Vault Free Bundle is officially live!
