{HMW} Ever been called a "fussy eater"? (free workshop this Sunday)

Dear Reader,

Picture this: You're 12 years old, sitting at the dinner table, and everyone's watching you push food around your plate.

"You're being too picky," they say. "Just eat it."

But what they don't understand is that certain textures make you gag, spicy food is a no-go, restaurant noise kills your appetite instantly, and stress literally shuts down your digestion.

Sound familiar?

This Sunday, I'm co-hosting a workshop with Andy from the Highly Sensitive Woman about something most people never talk about: why eating feels so much harder when you feel everything more deeply.

We're diving into:

🫐 Why your nervous system affects your appetite (leaving you ravenous or unable to eat at all)

🫐The real reason noisy food environments feel impossible

🫐How to work WITH your sensitivity around food instead of fighting it

🫐Tools for finding peace with eating when you're wired differently

I'll be sharing the neuroscience behind why stress instantly affects your digestion, and practical strategies I use with my coaching clients who've struggled with food for years.

If you've ever felt like the only person who finds eating overwhelming, tend to have a lot of food sensitivities or allergies or you're tired of being told you're "too sensitive" about food - this conversation is for you.

Sunday, September 7th (9am PT | 12pm ET | 5pm CET) 75 minutes, cozy online circle

>>> This is happening in Andy's paid Sensitive Sisterhood community, but she's graciously opening it up to my audience too.

Ingredient Spotlight:

Yogurt

Yogurt brings versatility and gut flora to your kitchen.

Greek - High protein, thick consistency. Perfect for smoothies, overnight oats, or as a sour cream substitute in dips and dressings.

Regular - Good source of calcium and probiotics. Ideal for marinades, baking substitutions, or mixing into sauces for extra creaminess.

Icelandic (Skyr) - Highest protein content with minimal fat. Dense texture works well in parfaits or eaten plain with fruit and nuts.

Vegan - Dairy-free options often fortified with vitamins. Choose unsweetened varieties for cooking and baking, or flavored ones for snacking. I like Forager and the So delicious brands of vegan yogurt

All types provide beneficial bacteria for gut health. Use plain varieties in savory dishes, sweeter ones for desserts and breakfast bowls.
